Changing the Password on your AmpliFi Router

It’s good practice to change your Wi-Fi password from time to time, especially if you have ex-staff members who have knowledge of the password or you suspect may have gained knowledge of the password.

Note that changing the Admin password on your AmpliFi router doesn’t change the password on your Wi-Fi network, or vice-versa. If you want the passwords to be the same, they need to be changed separately.

Chapter 1. Changing the AmpliFi Router Admin Password

1.    On your iPad, tap the AmpliFi app.

2.    Tap on the picture of the AmpliFi Router in the middle of the screen.

3.    Tap General.

4.    Tap Change Password.

5.    In the Password field, enter the new password. In the Verify Password field, enter it again. Tap the checkmark in the top right-hand corner of the screen when finished.

Chapter 2. Changing your Wi-Fi Network Password on the AmpliFi Router

1.    On your iPad, tap the AmpliFi app.

2.    Tap on the picture of the AmpliFi Router in the middle of the screen.

3.    Tap Wireless.

3.    In the Password field, enter the new password. In the Verify Password field, enter it again. Tap the checkmark in the top right-hand corner of the screen when finished.
